Netflix Real Estate Star Killed in Tragic Hamptons Hit-and-Run

Sara Burack, a former real estate agent known for her appearance on Netflix’s Million Dollar Beach House, was tragically killed in a hit-and-run incident in Hampton Bays, New York. Authorities discovered the 40-year-old unconscious near Villa Paul Restaurant on Montauk Highway in the early hours of June 13. She was rushed to Stony Brook University Hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after.

Burack rose to fame showcasing luxury homes in Manhattan and the Hamptons while working at Nest Seekers International. Though she had left the firm over a year ago, her presence in the real estate community remained strong. Friends and colleagues describe her as “a bright light,” deeply passionate about her work and generous in her personal life.

“She was an unbelievable agent,” said one friend. “She could handle herself in New York as well as in the Hamptons. This is a devastating loss.”

The hit-and-run has shocked the quiet community of Hampton Bays. Southampton detectives, alongside New York State Police Reconstruction Unit, are investigating the incident and have urged witnesses or anyone with footage or tips to come forward.

Gone Too Soon

Burack’s death has left an emotional void in the industry. Once described as a rising star in real estate, she was also known for her philanthropic work and charm. Her passing is a grim reminder of the dangers on the road—and the importance of accountability and justice.
